Jungle Juice Platinum is a 25 ml leather cleaner. Its active substance is propyl nitrite. The bottle has an airtight protective cap and the product weighs 80 g in total.
A brand name does not say which substance is in the bottle, which is why the substance is named separately here.
Substances in the propyl nitrite group are more volatile than amyl or pentyl nitrite: an open bottle empties faster and the smell is sharper. Isopropyl nitrite has been associated in the scientific literature with damage to the macula and with visual disturbances.
Safety. For technical use only. Do not inhale or swallow. Highly flammable liquid and vapour — keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Harmful if swallowed: do not induce vomiting, rinse the mouth, drink a little water and call 112 at once, or the Estonian Poison Information Centre on 16662. If it gets in the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. May cause skin irritation, avoid contact with skin. Do not use together with erectile dysfunction or blood pressure medicines. Keep the bottle closed and upright, cool and dark, out of the reach of children.
